The AKBC are delighted to announce the inaugural Australia-Korea Parliamentary Forum, bringing together Australian and Korean parliamentarians, diplomats, and business leaders to celebrate the strong bilateral relationship and focus on increasing business’ capacity to engage and collaborate with Korea.
With new and expanding opportunities in critical minerals, education, energy, hydrogen, defence, finance, food and agriculture, and health and biotechnology, now is the time to focus on Australian business’ engagement with Korea.
This event will feature speakers from government and business including the Chair of Australia-Korea Business Council, Hon. Simon Crean and Chair of the Australia-Korea Parliamentary Friendship Group, Joanne Ryan, MP. The forum will provide an exclusive opportunity to meet with Ministers to speak about key issues and opportunities with policymakers. Meetings will take place with Hon Dr Jim Chalmers MP, Treasurer, Senator the Hon Don Farrell, Minister for Trade and Tourism, and Hon Madeleine King MP, Minister for Resources, Hon Ed Husic MP, Minister for Industry and Science, with more to be announced.
