📢 5TH AUSTRALIA-KOREA NEW ENERGY FORUM 📢
The pressing need to accelerate the transition to renewable energy and the opportunities for Korean and Australian businesses in green hydrogen were key themes at the Australian-Korea New Energy Forum this afternoon.
Business leaders from across the energy supply chain came together at the Sofitel Hotel in Melbourne for the sold-out event.
Australia Korea Business Council Chief Executive Liz Griffin said the event brought together some of the region’s most influential energy leaders.
“The relationship between our two countries will be critical in reaching our climate and energy goals right across our region,” Ms Griffin said.
“This is a special relationship; our two economies are well positioned to transition to a cleaner energy future together. Today’s forum and networking will have real-world impacts.
“Koreans are keen to partner with us, and likewise Australian companies need to continually demonstrate that we value our Korean partnership and eager to work together to solve the problems of tomorrow.
“This event demonstrated the goodwill and commitment that exists in energy transition across the two countries.”
