Asiana Airlines Reintroduces Direct Flights Between Melbourne and Seoul

Asiana Airlines announced to double its flights between Melbourne and Seoul starting July this year. The current twice-weekly seasonal services which began in December will end this month, but the airline will resume seasonal flights with an increased frequency of four times per week from July 2 to September 2.

Melbourne, being one of the most populated cities in Australia, will greatly benefit from the increased direct flights to Seoul. Melbourne is already a home to distinguished Korean companies including Hanwha Defense, GS E&C, Samsung C&T, Lotte Duty Free, and Amore Pacific. The revival of this direct flight is expected to accelerate the expansion of the bilateral corporate relationship for AKBC members and other Australian and Korean companies. This direct flight will make travel between the two nations faster and more convenient, helping to strengthen their economic ties.
