The inaugural Victoria-Korea Business Forum will be held on 14 June 2018.

The Victoria-Korea Business Forum is an opportunity to bring together representatives from the Victorian and Korean business communities to discuss the latest trade and investment opportunities. The Forum will provide an efficient and effective platform to understand the latest trends in the Victoria-Korea corridor, learn about evolving and emerging business opportunities and help participants to build and strengthen their networks.

The seminar will commence at 9.00am with a welcome from Victorian Minister for Trade and Investment, Hon. Philip Dalidakis MLC.

Session one, Investment opportunities in Emerging Sectors, will explore Korea’s economic and political context and outlook, as well as the emergence of IT, energy and infrastructure as key sectors of development. After a panel discussion with session one speakers, there will be a coffee break and chance to network between sessions.

Session two, Furthering the understanding of Australia-Korea relations, will focus on sports diplomacy, marketing to Korean consumers and Korean study tour experiences. The session will conclude with a panel discussion.

Concluding remarks will be provided by Mr Sunghyo Kim, Consul General of the Republic of Korea (Melbourne) and guests are invited to network over a light lunch.
